an old guy with 80 years of morse code experience beat a kid using txt slang, don’t know if they were using predictive input. and who won also was determined by receiving on the other end, which is something the txter can’t really control (versus telegraph machine). but still. though i wonder how the person who won the LAST speed txt contest would’ve fared.
