ESPN.com - NBA/DRAFT2005 - Bogut looks like a pro even before the draft

beyond him showing up to his bucks’ tryout in a suit and tie. beyond him handing the team owner his RESUME (like on paper) because he said it was an interview, i’m a bogut fan for this quote:

My eyesight is pretty good. I can see you.

suppose this idea does work. suppose photons beaming out of the sun hit the sails and propels this thing. they are talking about it reaching super far places. granted once it’s going it’s going. but at some point don’t photons from other stars start to hit it and move it in different or even opposite directions? i mean just as a matter of common sense? or is our sun the ONLY star that emits protons?

btw, what is the proper name for the star that is the sun? other stars have actual names, with capitalized first letters and everything. but the most important star to us, the sun, is just the sun. not the Sun.

saddam is one crazy bastard

undoubtedly the GOP will find some way to use the he thinks clinton was okay and didn’t like both bushes to their advantage (but truth be told, if i were the former leader of a country, i wouldn’t like the presidents of another country who were president at the time they kicked my ass in military engagements)

btw - more salient to me is this appears in this july’s gq, which according to the article hit newsstands on monday. why the f do i subscribe if i don’t get the magazine until on average a week after its on newsstands? do i really save that much money on a subscription versus pay per month (actually yes, but i still should get the magazine relatively the same time as newsstands)? and it’s not like i subscribed via some other service (which i could at least justify, if incorrectly, in my head for the delay), subscribed right through gq.

f1 fall-out

FOXSports.com - F1- American fans finally fed up with F1

oh the f1 coverage continues in the US. usually any publicity is good publicity as they say, but i don’t think so in this case. though as days go by, i’m starting to agree with bernie a little. regardless of all that, f1 is nowhere near done in the US. it might be done at indy though. i know if they had a las vegas grand prix, it would be full. because people love vegas. no disrespect to indy (which is motor history), indianapolis is no las vegas. of course you’d have to find a way to cover/cool the grand stands, but hell if they have races in bahrain they can have it in vegas.
